2 men attack, slit hotel owner’s ear for service delay

Chennai: Two men allegedly attacked a restaurant owner in Chennai and slit his ear as they were agitated over a delay in service.
The men have been identified as Arun Kumar and Siva. The duo had gone to watch a movie at Devi theatre in Velipalayam. When they realised there was time left for the movie to start, they decided to go to a nearby restaurant to eat.
The supplier there served another table instead of the accused duo. This led to a verbal fight and escalated to a physical altercation. Following this, the two men took out a machete and slit the owner’s ear.
On inquiry, it was found that Arun Kumar and Siva were rowdies and the police immediately took them into custody.
