Yamaha Launches Flex-Fuel FZ Blue Flex in India at INR 1.24 Lakh
BENGALURU: In a significant push toward sustainable mobility, India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. has officially launched the FZ Blue Flex in India. Priced at INR 1,24,240 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new motorcycle introduces flex-fuel capability to Yamaha’s highly popular FZ lineup, aligning with the Indian government’s green energy initiatives and “Viksit Bharat” vision.
The standout feature of the FZ Blue Flex is its ability to run on ethanol-blended fuels ranging from E20 up to E85. This flexibility aims to significantly reduce dependency on fossil fuels and cut down environmental emissions without compromising on the brand’s performance standards.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Hajime Aota, Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group, emphasized the company’s multi-pathway strategy toward carbon neutrality. “Having already commenced our electric vehicle journey in India, the introduction of our innovative Blue Flex technology marks another strategic milestone. This move is a deliberate alignment of Yamaha’s global sustainability vision with the Indian government’s progressive biofuel policies,” Aota said.

The motorcycle will be exclusively available in a Metallic Black color scheme. Yamaha will retail the FZ Blue Flex through its premium “Blue Square” dealerships across select markets, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.
